Air France-KLM has ordered twenty EMB-190s from Brasilian manufacturer Embraer. Another eighteen are on option, this was announced today. Ten of the Embraers are going to KLM Cityhopper, the remainder to Air France Regional.
KLM Cityhopper will retire fifteen of their oldest F100s between 2008 and 2010. The Embraers will replace them. KLM Cityhopper will also get the last five F70s from AF Regional.
This announcement will likely kill Rekkof.

And isn’t VLM about to be bought by AF/KLM ?
No, antitrust autorities would never take that. It would make KL/AF too strong a player on the Benelux market.
Having said that… there are some rumours that VLM will operate under franchise as a KLM carrier. Something similar to KLM Exel and KLM Alps back then.
and I bet every 2nd hand F-70 are all owned by KLM
About half of them. Figures may be slightly off, but about 49 where made. When the 5 “new” ones have been delivered KLM will have 26.
Hope they hurry up and go ahead with Rekkof.
An insider at Rekkof mentioned that the project is now over. KLM was their best (only) hope for a large order by a reputable airline. This would have been very important. A large order gives it some breathing space, and a reputable airline draws more customers whereas something like Iranistanairexpress does not.

VLM is sure to order them had Rekkof gone ahead seeing as how VLM is owned by the same guy behind Rekkof. Next to that there was an order from Iran from a undisclosed airline.

OK, perhaps my question should be have Rekkof received an order yet ? And is it more appropriate to suggest the Embraer 190 will kill Rekkof off rarther than just this decision by AF/KLM ?

Nope, but they keep saying the produced a new-design wing and that the rest of the plane can be made using original molds and equipment.
