BA 321 domestics

I know when you’ve seen 1 BA Airbus you’ve pretty much seen them all, but I just thought I’d mention for the guys in the regions that for July some of the domestic flights from LHR are being operated by the 321 which is a rare occurance.

I know it’s definately doing the first MAN on a Monday (among others), and I believe is also going to GLA and NCL on occassion.

More time to spend drinking in the lounge. My last visit to LGW I was on a £35 single fare and drank at LEAST twice the value of that, courtesy of my AA status.

Ahem… ? :dev2:

If I were you Id fly with an airline offering decent fares and one who actually might get my bag to my destination! Can you tell Im not to happy with BA?

Out Friday evening, back Sunday night, £75 all in. Cheaper than the train at those times.

Delays? Fantastic! More time to spend drinking in the lounge. My last visit to LGW I was on a £35 single fare and drank at LEAST twice the value of that during my 3 hour delay.

I’m as displeased with BA as the next guy, but whilst I’m making a net gain from my trips courtesy of my AA status, I’ll keep flying them 😉

The 321’s usually only fly routes out of T4, hence no domestics. They are covering 319 maintenance for this month as they did once before last autumn IIRC, which is when they’ll have been seen at NCL.

I think I’ll save myself £6, fly to Gatwick, and indulge myself on the Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque in the First Lounge once again! 😉

That’s got be worth a 6 quid saving!

Hmm I see it now, very limited to Manchester indeed.

I know they’ve done domestics before for short periods of time, but haven’t seen one for a while. Any particular reason why they are on this month 1L?

Can’t see them in the schedule at a quick glance. I’ll take a look tomorrow and see if I can get on one from MAN as I need to pop home for a bit at some point this month, and the 321 is the only type in the BA fleet I’ve not been on yet!
