Aircraft identification help!

The tailplane looks too high and no anhedral on the wings.

The “high tailplane” is a false impression caused by the position of the observer – ie, below and behind the aircraft – and the reduced anhedral is due to the wings bearing their full aerodynamic load.

I agree with Sam – that says “An124” to me, too.

Thanks, It came from the South in North West heading then turned North.

Which way was it going? I will try and find some logs from Newcastle.

Also Volga-Dnepr AN124 landed at Prestwick from Baku at 2:20pm’ish.

Could’nt have been that, it passed over after 3pm.
