Hi,
last week I bought me a copy of IL2 together with FB. However, I´m not familiar with it yet – how do I install skins? Just copy the bmp.-skin into the directory and delete the old one?
Next: I want to fly a Spitfire. How? (PS: I like this one http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=41203&stc=1)
But I do not see any Spit at all to repaint …

I´m still learning to fly via the “mission editor (standard)”. The pics are from the German version of Forgotten Battles:
In the second picture, hidden under the sikn-list is a switch for turing off the national insignias. I first wondered, why my RAF-Hurri was bearing red stars over the roundels … :rolleyes:

OK, I just found the option to change the skins, so one problem eliminated.

yeah you are right you just copy the skin to the specific folder….you don’t have to delete the old ones you can just select which skin you want to fly…
If my memory serves to fly the spits you nedd the IL2 FB Aces Expansion Pack which is well worth the money….. 🙂
