FS 2004 overspeed

Ive noticed in FS 2004 that the planes start rocking when overspeeding. Does anyone know how to disactivate that?

There must be a way to alter it, but i would agree that it is probably down to the model itself. I would suggest backing up the model and then try altering the max speed in the config files to see what happens. Alhough that would just prolong the time before the bobble starts . And now i think about it not all my models do wobble in overspeed, Dc10 doesnt and my Jaguar and Vulcan just nose over and require lots of trim and elevator to get them level.

Yes… reduce the throttle, open the speedbrakes. Or choose a faster plane if you want to fly fast.

Thats not the advice I want Frank, try again. First off, I like to be able fly planes beyond their limits just to see what happens, thats part of the fun. And Second, I have this problem with speed wobbleing even with fast jets like the F-4, so your solution is no solution at all. Im sure their has to be some script in the animation files of FS 2004 you can alter.

That means there is a problem with the model.

And even in real life, you can overspeed a plane, but must make sure you don’t.

Never forget that Concorde is a really exceptionnal aircraft, and FS was at the start meant for Cessnas and Learjets, so it might behave “funny” when simulating a fast jet.

I have overspeed problems with my Concorde, I wouldn’t have thought you would get a passenger aircraft which was any faster than that, but thanks for tips on how to deal with the problem.
