Thomsonfly 767

Just returned from a holiday to Mexico, travelled with Thomsonfly on 24Dec (or it should have been actually left 24 hours late, due to an engine fault!) Gatwick to Cancun. I have only ever flown on a longhaul charter once before, Caledonian Airways 757 Gatwick to Goa. I must admit id forgot how uncomfortable the experience was, and will never do a longhaul chater again, so be warned !! Im not sure how long Britannia (Thomsonfly) has had their 767s but they are looking tired.

Thomson are Refurbishing their Long Haul planes. I believe the first one is now back in the UK and will be in service this weekend.
So the new cabin should be even better than the pictures shown. Thomson’s website shows info on what the cabin will be like, but no decent pictures.

From LGW though.

Talking of Thomson… does anybody know what equipment will be used on the 11th June for the GLA-DLM route? Thanks in advance!:)

TOM planning schedules not widely available yet, but expect a 757 (was mix of 757 and 762 last year- but fewer 767s in fleet this year)

The relevance of this being…?

Paul

To be fair to Tommy, for once, the thread started was asking about how old the TOM 76’s were and Tommy answered that.

I saw an ad on telly the other night that said from Summer 2007 all Thomson long haul flights will have extra leg room and PTV & ‘celeb’ menus or something.
