Just found this great pic of a low flying Boeing 707 those were the days! ive had my grandfather telling me of the days when he used to fly to New York once a week with BOAC on a 707 !! soooooo jealous!!

I don’t know how many times i crossed the Pacific from Sydney to LAX in the sixties and early seventies on Pan Am 707’s…they were a very comfortable ride along with the Air New Zealand DC8’s
I am not that keen on more “historic” aircraft (mainly DC3 etc) but the 707 is definetly one i would give anything to have a flight on. Ive heard many stories from pax and never once has there been a bad one!
