BYE BYE Jumbolino

Well indeed its time for us to say bye bye to our Jumbolino, Although i never did work on it, was onlys a nice aircraft to see, shame it never got a red tail like TF-ELO would have looked nice.
I think a BAe 146 would look rather good in full Jet2 colours (ahem hint hint sandy 😉 :p )

well here is a pic of good old G-FLTC leaving MAN stripped in all white colours.
Until next time Jumbo.

Funny you should say that as i was lookin before on out Intranet about the LGWs from NCL, It says its goin on the 146, but it could be that LGW hasnt yet been updated. Will be quite costly putting up flight deck in hotels in NCL as Flightline dont have a base in NCL, Maybe true or just a error

Now at the moment BA uses a 737 on the route i would have though JET2 would aswell. Problem been what 737?? as all the based aircraft are going to be out of the country i think.

Hotels in newcastle theres plenty just keep clear of the airport hotel
BA crew stay in the Copthorne down on the riverside. :diablo:

No dont know the saab340. sory
Jumbolino was given by crossair as oneleft mentioned. but ‘Jumbo was given to it as it has 4 engines and was a micky take as it was smallest aircraft we had.

Crossair used to give their aircraft types their own names rather than use the manufacturers names. The Bae146 was Jumbolino and the Saab2000 was Concordino. I can’t remember what the Saab340 was called. Anyone?

You’ll have to fly on it next time it comes into the fleet FlyMonarch.

EXT 1xB733

Why is there an aircraft at EXT?

I must agree it would look amazing in the full Jet2 colours,

Can anyone inform me of the base allocation for the fleet for the winter season?

Where are fellow members PMN or especially tomfellows – not seen them around since my return,

wozza

LBA 3xB752 6xB733
MAN 1xB752 5xB733
BLK 1xB733
BFS 1xB733
EDI 2xB733, 1xL188
NCL 2xB733
TFS 1xB752
STN 1xB733
EXT 1xB733

plus 2 of the B733s in OTP on mx at a time at present.

That’s presently as a rule of thumb – we float around during the week, such as today an extra aircraft is required in BFS so one of the EDI acft positions over to cover.

PMN btw is away on tour in Holland with the band.
