TRAVEL award has been handed to the Delta airline following the introduction of direct flights from Edinburgh to Atlanta.
The new route has proved incredibly popular, and was highlighted at the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association annual travel awards.
The accolade was presented by BAA Scotland, which operates Edinburgh Airport.

Great news for Delta.
Glad to see route proving itself to be popular.Although, Continental should get a mention for having the guts to be the first to give it a go.
Did COA get any awards for their service? Its been running pretty much full since it started.
I think CO got some sort of recognition/award for their EDI
service, not sure which. They did of course win OAG airline
of the year award at some stage.
