Anyone here travelled on Air Seychelles?
I am flying with them from LHR to the Seychelles on the 15th of this month.
Anyone know what they are like to travel on, and what the islands are like for that matter?
Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Looking forward to the flight down, although is seems a bit long. Especially since I start out in New York. Good to hear they are a good outfit.
Oldgit. I envy you having been there that early. Seems like almost everywhere you go there is a direct flight there and a mcdonalds around the corner. Takes some of the fun out of travelling if you ask me!!
I am going to be staying there until mid-May, as I got hired with these guys www.helicopterseychelles.com Loooking forward to that!!

I had a return trip on Air Seychelles, two years ago.
You will enjoy the ride on the 767. Two years ago the Economy Cabin had a choice of three main courses, plus nice wines.. The Audio Visual entertainment was a bit basic, but look out of the window instead. Staff are good.
I stayed at a resort ( The Plantation Club, if you are driving past). Roads are good for driving, Victoria is a nice smaller city – you should visit the Pirate’s Arms for reasonable food and drink.
Every beach looks like a scene from Paradise.
If you go to Praslin Island you will have a short flight in a Shorts 360 ( about 15 minutes). YO can drive to the highest point on Mahe island and get a good view.

It is many many years since I was there and the airport was only just being completed so we went by sea from Bombay (although there was a light aircraft service from Dar Es Salaam). Mail was brought in by a U.S. Grumman Albatros seaplane for the US Satellite tracking station. I do remember the place as being absolutely beautiful. I prefered the second largest island (Praslin). I would love to go back – lucky sod 😀
