BELGRADE – Serbia’s very first low cost carrier, Centavia, has finally been assigned its IATA code, 7N. It’s ICAO code is CNA.
Centavia began flights July 8th of this year with the arrival of their first BAe 146-200 (YU-AGL) with their maiden flight to Corfu, Greece. The second BAe 146 arrived shortly afterwards and was registered YU-AGM.
Centavia is soon said to be heading off to a variety of destinations and will make Cologne/Bonn their technical base. Scheduled flights from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport will be to CGN, HAM, ATH, BUD, Bergamo, BTS, Portoroz (Slovenia), BSL and SAW. BSL is said to start on October 21st initially as charters untill they get proper rights from the Serbian government to operate scheduled flights.
