I noticed a thread on PPrune which mentioned the possibility of BA Connect considering BHD – LCY 4X daily. Does anyone think there is any truth in this particularly after the recent BHX debacle?
Flybe did operate this route via IOM up until a couple of years back but the fares were extortionate and the plug was pulled.
IMHO, could still work with the right timings and fare structure although 4X daily would perhaps be over the top – 3X daily would be more than adequate with maybe 2X at weekends. Would also be interesting to see what aircraft type they would employ.
Anyone any thoughts?

If they were cheaper than bmi, not a problem to fill it. They would need a decent Business Class service as with the Heathrow Express it is not that hard to use LHR over LCY.
