Flybe ERJ…Any news

Has anyone got any updates on the Flybe ERJ and when it will go into service. Heard that it had a few snags at the factory; is it in the UK yet, if not I wonder when it will be arriving and will it go to Exeter or Birmingham for engineering or straight into service?

Andrewm,

you would think so but as SOU only has 3 or 4 stands that the aircraft will fit into without encroaching on taxiway, anything is possible. This is the airport where the tower is not tall enough to see all of the ramp.

Rumoured to be in SOU on 13th September for tests etc (making sure it fits) and entering service soon after on Edinburgh / Glasgow routes

One hopes making sure it would fit would be something undertaken before time of order!
