It’s going to be another one to add to the list of startups that never actually startup.

As for that photo, the aircraft is clearly pictured whilst in storage, hence the engines and flight deck windows being covered. Lovely.

The grammar and the spelling in the ticker is appalling. I wouldn’t trust them if that is the best they can do. Yes, the pic is also c..p.

I love the idea in the first pprune thread that the airline is being run from a furniture shop in Sheffield.

I don’t mean to be rude, but that has to be the most hideous picture of an aircraft I have ever seen! It looks like a 4 year old been messing around with Microsoft Paint and made a bad job of it.

Sorry but poor pictures like that on a site have me clicking the back button real quick.

It was a brief item in the Airliner World “News” section the month before last (or maybe two months ago now if the new issue is out!). UK – LGW, MAN and EMA initially actually – to several places in the Middle East. The article said that they had secured two ex-UA 767-200s. Funny thing is, I gather that one of the reasons why UA retired the 762s was that they were not RVSM capable, and it was going to cost too much to refit them with the kit. Can’t see that situation has changed? Don’t know whether AW know something or whether they were just quoting from the website. I gather that they’re the same outfit that was once known as Air Tigra.
