Hello folks.
I’m looking to book a flight but there are some restrictions due to language barriers.
Its for a friend who wants to bring her mother.
The original is Berlin, either of the airports. The destination is Edinburgh, can be prestwick at a push.
Direct is preferred, but if there is a stop it can only be In Germany or Amsterdam as the passenger is elderly and speak no english.
Price to be reasonable.
Planned dep date is September 21st 2006, with the return on the 26th
Any help will be immensly appreciated 🙂 I know ya’ll like a little challenge from time to time.
There might be a little artistic prize for the one who finds a flight that gets booked 😉

Sandy, I thought Easyjet did Berlin-Glasgow,
they do
EZY6955 (SXF) mon-fri
EZY6953 Sunday
EZY6957 Saturday
hope this helpsKevin
Hi
Yeah, they do, but with no Car, getting to Abbotsinch from Edinburgh is a real pain in the butt when its an elderly person you’re picking up.
EDI and PIK are the best for direct access.

No problem at all :). As for the drawing an Iberia A320 with the reg EC-JSK which I recently travelled on would be very nice, hopefully you have it in stock :D.

Thanks for the help lads.
Future Pilot, I think your breakdown was the winner.
But as only two people helped out, you’re both getting a thank you.
So, as you both well know… I do profile drawings…. name the airline and type you’d like 🙂

€314 per person with Lufthansa from Tegel via Frankfurt, with multiple flights avaliable on each day.
By: Bhoy - 10th August 2006 at 16:29
€287 per person to go Tegel-Amsterdam with KLM, and Amsterdam-Edinburgh with easyJet.
By: Bhoy - 10th August 2006 at 16:11
£64.22 per person on the direct easyJet flight SXF-GLA return on said dates (closer than PIK), only problem if you’re coming from Edinburgh is the return flight ex-GLA leaves at 9:20am.

Well the final routing could be….
KLM
TXL – AMS – EDI -AMS – TXL
Which is four flights for £158.20 per person, higher price with the variety 😀 :diablo: .
21/9/06: Depart TXL 1005/Arrive AMS 1135 – Depart AMS 1500/Arrive EDI 1530.
26/9/06: Depart EDI 1630/Arrive AMS 1905 – Depart AMS 2015/Arrive TXL 2135.
Advantage would be the baggage would be checked in all the way through so just be a matter of off one plane and onto another, disadvantage with that is the long connection time in AMS on the way to EDI which is over 4 hours which is workable.
I did find a just little bit more expensive selection of fligts with Lufthansa but they seem to of dissapeared, as I said the connection time in AMS is kinda the downer.

hmm I am unaware of any direct Berlin – EDI flights only Cologne with German Wings and FRA with the famous LH. Dunno bout PIK. Good luck anyhow
