For months people have been saying that Jet2 will not begin services from Gatwick to me. But it appears it is only operating on Saturday’s. This maybe just a summer charter but any of you guys that know lots about Jet2 please post.By the way it was G-CELP yesterday and last saturday and the one before that!!!

It’s G-CELP all the time – all summer it’s been that. It’s the one that’s in the old Channel Express livery so it’s not that interesting, but quite nice to see at the same time.
And it’s only a charter service and there will be no expansion from LGW for Jet2, I feel, given that they are ‘The North’s low-cost airline’ :). LGW would be a poor base for them to choose if the time came in the future, given BA and EZY have very big bases there.
