Any ideas which 737 is out of action at manchester today – theres a big delay on the one travelling to Olbia, anyone know what the fault is?

Just so happens that I was stood at the fence when the 732 took off! Not a very good camera but still you get the idea!

Those people on the Malaga were so lucky! (Though they probably didn’t think so ;)).
An Air Slovakia 732? What a result that would be!

The aircraft that did the Malaga was Air Slovakia OM-RAN.

Some sort of subcharter for the Malaga.
AEU941P B732 from Bratislava was due into LBA early this morning then operating to Malaga as AEU941. It’s due to return ‘on time’ as AEU942 and then departing to Birmingham as AEU942P at 1530 local.

Astraeus problems now at LBA instead of MAN
The LBA – Malaga AEU941 flight left 1 hour late this morning at 08:36 while last nights Delayed Las Palmas AEU953 went out at 07:50 this morning after a 11 hour delay.
So im guessing AEU posistioned 2 aircraft to LBA this morning to operate these flights. Anyone know which ones???
Both aircraft are due back at LBA as follows
AEU954 LAS PALMAS 0605 EXPECTED 17:15
AEU942 MALAGA 1430 EXPECTED 14:30

I was just talking to my mum today about AEU reliability as they are flying to Zakynthos next month, and was saying how much better it has been since the 73G. Oh dear! I guess the MAN delay had to take priority to save passengers an even bigger delay, just a shame it had to come at the expense of LBA! The 06:05 arrival from Las Palmas now says:
AEU954 LAS PALMAS 0605 EXPECTED 17:15
But interestingly the Malaga arrival later in the day says:
AEU942 MALAGA 1430 EXPECTED 14:30
So maybe they expect STRH to back over this side of the pennines by tomorrow? Probably the case.

Looks like she isnt off to Las Palmas 😀 And i think its needed more at Manchester by the sounds of it

I just checked LBA departures and for Las Palmas it says indefinate delay, next information 21:00. Its now 22:24, and doesn’t say a new estimated time of departure yet.

Possibly either B733 G-STRA or G-STRJ. I saw G-STRF today depart to Sharm, so obviously that isn’t the one that has a problem. 😉
