PIA commences twice a week flights to Stansted starting 01/08/2006.
Flight details are as follows:
Tuesday 01/08/2006
—————————-DEP—–ARR
PK773 A310 ISB KHI 07:05 09:00
PK773 A310 KHI STN 10:20 15:00
PK774 A310 STN KHI 16:30 04:30
PK 773 A310 KHI STN 10:20 15:00
PK 774 A310 STN KHI 16:30 04:30
London-Stansted, after London-Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, will be the fifth airport to be served by PIA in the United Kingdom. That’s a large number of airports of a country served by PIA outside Pakistan.

I wish they could start a isb service on a 767 via turkey or something because it would do really well

I think it’s an excellent new service for Stansted although I do agree that with a week to and no sign of seats on sale, it seems a little bit unlikely.
However, having checked the PIA website and entering the flight number on this page: http://www.piac.com.pk/vil.aspx, although it doesn’t actually show seat availability, it does show the routing as being ISH-KHI-STN.

I’m not denying the source but with nothing said from STN or PIA we can consider it only rumour right now? very odd considering it’s meant to be starting in a weeks time!
Hopefully it may mean the introduction of the B777 on the BHX saturday service but hey that’s wishful thinking 😉 :D.
Until its official anything can happen…
Might be just a week or so away but PIA’s Glasgow flights went on sale on a few weeks before they started.
