Lots of New Ryanair flights…

Ryanair have announced that they are to launch several new routes on the 31st of October this year. These are:

London Stansted – Deauville, Pula (Both at three times weekly).

London Luton – Fez (Three times weekly), Marrakech (Four times weekly).

Shannon – Bournemouth, Edinburgh (Both three times weekly).

Cork – Dublin will be increasing to four flights a day, Dublin – Gatwick will be increasing to six flights a day.

Excellent news for all involved! Ryanair seem to be setting about linking Shannon to the UK the same way as DUB. Wonder if we will see the likes of LBA and DSA get Shannon flights? Thats now EMA, MAN, LPL, LTN, STN, LGW, BRS, BOH, EDI, PIK all with Shannon services.

Also interesting that Luton now has links with two Morrocan destinations (Marrakech and Fez), where as Stansted has no flights to the country.

OK, let them come to BFS and watch the sparks fly!!

I truly don’t understand….ok..they have a CEO who is known for his peculiar style of running things BUT they do bring in punters and even you must admit that a DIFFERENT set of tails/destinations would be nice from this blighted isle!! 🙂

Serious question Mr McCall…why? I flew Dublin Baden Baden at the weekend and found them

a/ On Time

b/ Very competitively priced

c/ Clean

and most of all FULL of punters.

They were fine…….bring them on! :p

Still waiting on GLA-DUB with FR. Glasgow International must be the only major airport in the UK with no Ryanair flights.

What about Belfast? – please God they stay away!!

And lets hope they do add more routes from LBA .But the thing is where could Ryanair fly to?

James

Well in my original post I said Shannon, as they seem to be linking most UK airports with SNN.

SNN-EDI! That was a suprise, but a pleasant one never-the-less. It’s an evening flight too so EDI-DUB-SNN-EDI might just work nicely!

LBA has had the Ryanair DUB route for a very long time, must be about 10 years. I am saying I hope they add routes in the future in my post!

I’m sure Ryanair will expand from airports such as NCL in the future. Anyone know how well Torp and Bergamo are performing?

The day that EK. would say something negative like that about GLA, is the day that hell freezes over!

I see your havent changed one bit, still as big an asshole as ever, they to get a reaction from people, you should be banned.

The media reported on what I said so maybe you should think before embarrassing yourself.

PS your one to talk, you would take LBA to your bedroom if you could….

Pula is odd considering GSM have had to axe flights to Pula because there is not enough hotel rooms in the place.

You dont really believe that media spin put out by Globespan. That info re hotel rooms is rubbish. No other carriers /tour operators have had to cut back. Simple economics- flights werent full (as per CAA stats) so they were combined.

Where are those flight times taken from?

Monday to Friday, it seems that British Airways departures to Dublin are at 0625hrs, 1035hrs, 1645hrs, 1845hrs and Ryanair departures are at 0810hrs, 1140hrs, 1505hrs, 1545hrs and 1910hrs.

Tom’s times are right – the Ryanair times you’re looking at are the current ones from Dublin TO Gatwick – his are LGW-DUB, and include the extra 6th flight.
