MyTravel 767's

MYT are using a 767 next winter for flights to Florida from NCL so I presume they’ll keep them

Probably most likely Monarch Airlines, they seem to like the 767 they currently have.

When the 767’s return where? They have just returned to MyTravel, and as said above, will be staying there until the end of summer 2007 at least. They won’t have decided what has happening with them after that yet.

Where will the 767’s head to when they return ?
Also what about G-WJAN ?

MyTravel are keeping the B767 until at least the end of Summer 2007. The entire fleet is under going a re-fit this year. This will feature leather seats throughout economy and new improved seat foams. The re-fit will also see an increment in legroom onboard the A330 & B767 to 31″ in line with British Airways, Virgin etc…

MyTravel is currently in talks with Airbus and Boeing for a replacement for the A330 in the form of either the B787 or A350 for both the UK and A/S fleet.

Monarch are looking at 767-300s as potential A300 replacements.

It’s obviously a sign of MYT turning themselves around, bringing back the B763’s to op them long/short haul to add more flights. Lots of Skyservice stuff over for the summer too

The MYT 767’s went out on lease, but now G-SJMC and G-DAJC are operating for MyTravel again. G-DIMB has remained at Monarch.

Isn’t Mytravel going to retire the 767’s or give them to another airline.

G-SJMC is a nice plane, just needed an update, comfort was appalling.

The MYT143 is a B767 so could be either G-SJMC or G-DAJC both of which now have Premiair Gold cabins. When I flew on G-SJMC earlier this year seat pitch was around 30″ which was very comfortable and contrary to what ‘tommyinyork’ said, the interior was neat and tidy.

Flew on G-SJMC to Cuba (Varadero) in Jan, very tatty interior (Old airtours one). Also on jetphotos Monarch’s 767 also still has airtours fittings.

I hope it is a 767 🙂

Think its a 767 depends on loads however, will be either g-sjmc or g-dajc both built 1994. Decent airline nowadays, most punctual out of all the charters enjoy!!

ok, cheers for that, so is the seat pitch on the 76’s 28/29/30″?
Plus I dont suppose anybody could confirm that my flight MYT143/144 is a B767? As according to OAG it is.

Unfortunately not, all there long haul a/c are up for a refit in the autumn, 31″ seat pitch and seatback tv’s so its not been done yet
