Stansted – Viewing & Photography

I have recently stubbled across Crash Gate AP5 at Stansted, at the end of a lane, where there is even somewhere to park!

Anyway just wondered if any of you “Stansted Boys” know if its OK to view and take the odd pic from here, without having too much hassel from security. Its not the most ideal location as aircraft are directly overhead, but at least they are very low, which was great fun yesterday with the FedEX MD11 !

There is also a perimiter track that goes around the outside of the security fence, does anyone also know if it is “acceptable” to walk around there, as it would be better for photography. There are no signs at all in the area saying keep out etc, but i dont want any run ins with security, especially if i have my kids in tow.
