flyglobalspan?? MAN – Cape Town

I’ve just booked to fly MAN – Cape Town on Flyglobalspan in Nov. Anyone flown in the business class section, if so how good is it?

Cheers
Ian

1 767 is Due October, the second one due next Year

Apologies, getting confused with “The Edinburgh-based LCC will lease two more 767s, two 757s and three 737s.”

No, the YYZ flight operates on the day CPT doesn’t. 1 will be based at GLA and 1 at MAN.

Also, its 2 more 767’s due next year Ren 🙂

There is a 2nd B763 due in time for the start of MAN-CPT.

And further acquisitions next year… 😀

1 x 767-300
2 x 757-200 possibly ?

I presume you’ve already read what it says about it on the website

Business Class Service
# Use of airport executive lounge prior to departure
# Priority check-in
# Priority boarding
# 40kg luggage allowance
# Champagne prior to departure
# Sleeper seats with 50″ seat pitch
# Gourmet meals served with fine wines
# Complimentary drinks throughout the flight
# Individual in-flight entertainment
# Complimentary headset
# Soft pillow and blanket

But apart from that there’s not much to go on just now as the SFB service has only been going for a couple of weeks. However, by the time your flight comes round in November we should have a much better idea of what the service is like.

While they only have one 767 is it going to have to keep positioning up and down between GLA and MAN?

They only started using the long haul plane in earnest at the start of June on the Glasgow-Sanford route and the South Africa service hasn’t even begun yet. So reviews of the business service might be a bit thin on the ground as yet.

If it helps, I found their short haul economy service to be pretty decent for what it was, and pleasant friendly flight crew as well.
