Another one that has a long delay is a First Choice Airways flight from Varna to London Gatwick. Scheduled to arrive 01:10 on Friday morning, now expected 00:32 Saturday morning.
.
That was a mistake on the flight info board
EZY6408, I suspect, has now arrived since it is no longer on Newcastle AIrport’s flight display 🙂

Not just Newcastle though, theres a Thomsonfly from Malaga scheduled to arrive in Doncaster at 18:00 and is now estimated 00:20.

Still no change for the EZY6408 though.

Ahh didnt know that. Im sure GSM crewhave fun with 200+ p*ssed off customers!

Given they used a B767 for a B737 load of pax – that shows there is not much choice about!
Well, the GSM 767 replaced 2 EZY LTN-BFS flights (i.e. 2 EZY became 1 GSM), it departed with over 200 pax and 174 bags. The pax from the 1st cancelled flight waited over 7 hours for the flight.

It the summer, spare aircraft Boeing 737 size or above are hard to come by. I bet they were lucky to get the B767 and B757 other week. Given they used a B767 for a B737 load of pax – that shows there is not much choice about!

must be a major problem then, but you would think easyjet would just assign another a/c?
