Hey, guess I’m a rookie here!! Just made my summer bookings for NY and was wondering if anyone has any experience of the Continental services from MAN, GLA or EDI to EWR? This is my first frolic away from BA (I’m slowly losing patience with BA (=) CON(nect) 😉
Anyho views on a postcard much appreciated…

Thanks guys – all very informative. I couldn’t speak to anyone who had actually flown CO across – all my previous trips have been EDI-LHR-EWR with BA but because of being in IOM the week before I thought I would do MAN-EWR and EWR-EDI straight back home again – The excitement of not having to transfer at Heathrow…

Welcome to the forums 🙂
I rate the CO service from EDI to EWR quite high. Good legroom (considering you’re on a 757), comfortable seats and great crews.

Welcome to the forums firstly! great to have a new member.
Last time I travelled CO was in 2004, routing was BHX-EWR-LAS-EWR-BHX. All of them flights were on Conti’s 752s except EWR-LAS which was a 738. I throughly enjoyed all the flights and as much as everyone puts them down, travelling over the pond on a 757 fine and I would have no qualms about doing it again.
I’ve done a couple of Trip Reports, not incredibly detailed and my photography skills aren’t as good as they are now :diablo: :dev2: 😀 but they seem fine enough 😎 .
