Not sure if this was already mentioned here. If not, my apologies.
Excerpts from the Dutch article:

DRIEBERGEN – The Scottish airline Flyglobespan will stop its flights between Glasgow and Amsterdam. The website of the airline declares that from june 5th there will be no more flights to AMS. Sales representative Aviareps confirmed the news today (22/05). Flyglobespan intends to stop the young route due to “disappointing sales”.
Flyglobespan recently already decreased the frequency from daily to four times weekly.
Now the only options left are KLM. Transavia also flies to Scotland, but preferes Prestwick. Transavia has no intention to change airport now Flyglobespan has left.

Fly Globespan appear to have ‘bigger fish to fry’? A huge expansion plan by next summer, including more 767’s and a pair of 757’s???
New North American routes, and an alliance plan with a US carrier ?

They would hardly want to compete at GLA with their parent company KLM who have recently increased frequency and capacity on the route (occasionally even using 737-900’s).
