New A380 interior!

See:
http://www.flightglobal.com/Assets/GetAsset.aspx?ItemID=12637

474 seats in 6 different configurations… the default 555 seat interior has 4 configurations.
Next week, 474 passengers are supposed to sit there for 5 hours and never start engines. However, they are supposed to keep APU, IFE and other amenities functional…

Is it just me or does the economy class look rather “cosy.”

think its just the camera angle to be honest – seats always look more cramped from above. Much better than TCX economy for sure!!

Its basically going to be a flight without the flying. Should be “quirky” for the people onboard. Pity the actual Long Haul is only going to be for Airbus employees!

In terms of keeping everything functional…they can use a ground power unit to power the electronics and electronic based systems. The article (from which you’ve taken that diagram) does state that the APU and air generation units will be switched ON!
