Hi All,
I spent a good 8 hours up at LBA today (with Tom, until he had to go to work at least). The weather to start with was terrible, but improved dramatically towards the early evening. Lots of the usual suspects were present, but some not so common visitors as well. Luckily I managed to get a few shots of the Futura 737 operating for JET2. Also, the air ambulance made three trips out while I was up there, so I’ve included good few of G-SASH as she’s not seen all that often. I have to say, she’s a stunning looking machine (for a helicopter at least!) The JET2 733 (G-CELZ) with a car seemingly up its backside was being towed from the Multiflight hanger over to the terminal. I’m not quite sure what the purpose of the car was, but it made for an interesting size comparison.
Enjoy!

Dial up? It’s barely Broadband friendly!
Agreed! that took forever :diablo: 😀 .
Love the shots though, especially the Thomson touchdown shot and Jet2 757 rotation. Great selection! 🙂

Just an unbelieveable set of shots Mr Nichols, really shows what a great camera that 350D is in crap weather conditions!
I can really see what you meant about the incredibly slow climb on the Ryanair from those shots, very odd!
My shots were atrocious, I was thought they were embarassing before, even more so after seeing yours!
Brilliant thread of photos :D. Mmmmm…… Chip Butties :D.
