So, here goes, my humble offerings courtesy a Fuiji S5000 and cracking weather. Some photos are better than others, some are taken as much for their “composition” as for their technical quality. I sufferred the usual “frozen props” issues with this type of mid range digicam, and also had one or two “missed” opportunties where the shutter lag folled me – spot the missed shot amongst the following posts which would have been a real peach….. Hopefully they capture the flavour of the afternoon, and give anyone who’s never been to Shoreham a feel for the location.
Some shots have been cropped, but other than that they are uneditted.
Constructive criticism welcome…
So first batch, including a couple which suggest “A womans work is never done…”

Thanks Daz,
Thought you might like those shots of RN201 – many man (or woman 😉 ) hours worth of polishing needed to keep her that way I suspect.
The display by G-ETME was very low level, and very tight, with the pyrotechnics waking up a few spectators who had got bored with that “pretty little aeroplane buzzing about”.

I well remember G-ETME’s display at East Fortune – the pyros were a bit more enthusiastic than Taifun had intended! 😀

Great stuff. Love the close-ups of RN201 – very shiny! 🙂
Also like the shot of G-ETME “attacking”.

And finally…..
Final few – for anyone interested in stalling check out the disturbed airflow above the wings in the shot of the stalled glider…..
