A few photos from the little-known Heathrow Terminal 6, located just up the road from the T5 development! :dev2:
Lined up on stands 1 to 5, part of the British Airways fleet awaits boarding prior to the afternoon rush of departures. Nice to see some world tails still in evidence! 😉

Surprised to see that there is still BA equipment in the old “red tail” livery. This is a service back-up aircraft used to recover from tech delays, temporarily parked on a remote stand! :p

The Scotland tail still alive and well! This one awaiting its next departure on one of BA’s lower capacity services to slightly less popular destinations: 😀

One of the higher capacity arrivals… This one has now been painted in the new “Union Flag” colours: 😎

Another world art tail seen on this short-haul aircraft awaiting its next revenue service: :diablo:

Hey thanks! Great way to suppliment BA’s revenue.

Nasir, they’re operated by the British Airways Flying Club. Despite the name, anyone can join. Contrary to what some people believe, they are NOT the official provider of initial pilot training to BA – the airline and the flying club are independant in that respect.
