Hi all,
Can anyone confirm if the Typhoon displayed both days and when – I was waiting for it on the Saturday but had to leave a bit early and there was still no notice of when it was supposed to be arriving – I guess I will see it next season!!
The Typhoon also appeared very briefly on Sunday having spent a fair amount of time holding out at sea whilst the microlight and geese were cleared away after their second run of the day. Personally I’d have preferred more Typhoon.
The Matadors were the stars of the show for me.

Are you going to publish the tear-jerking story of how you commentated in the face of adversity, or is that down to me?
Ah yeah, I’d forgot about that.
Just as Peter Eager was about to hand me the mike I had an itchy eye lid so I gave it a rub to get rid of the itch. A few minutes earlier I had applied sun cream, the result, sun cream in the eye and eyes running and stinging just in time to be given the mike to start my commentary. So I spent the ten minute
in great discomfort and tears rolling down my face. 😮
No jokes about boring others to tears too please 😀

Nice photos Anna & 92fis.
I was at Shoreham, you probably heard me, always a great show at Shoreham. In my view the best displays were The Matadors, Chinook, Guy Wesgate in the glider and the Aerostars on Saturday( didn’t see aerostars on sunday)
I too met Janie and Mark V, I think I spooked Janie at first on saturday night. I’m sure she’ll say why.
Today I also Met Dame Vera Lynn too.

Hi Neal
Unfortunatley I missed Denny in the display 🙁 I did not arrive on the Saturday until 12.55pm due to technical difficulties with my alarm clock   Anna 😀

Also bumped into Janie and MarkV.
Don’t worry, I will not be claiming for physical or emotional damages! 🙂
neilh: Yes you did spook me. The reason? Because you are neilh! Also, I was dressed as a drag queen and thought I was unrecognisable. Are you going to publish the tear-jerking story of how you commentated in the face of adversity, or is that down to me?

Typhoon did appear on the Saturday and did three passes only and not a full display.
The pilot was Anthony Parkinson and not Matt Elliott the designated display pilot.

Great shots guys, it was an interesting display, I liked the chinook, Guy wesgate in the glider, Lynx and the Eurofighter (first time I had seen it do a display). Was a great weekend even if I did get a little burnt 😉
I too saw the aerostars on the saturday but not on the sunday

Thanks Neal the show was great although quite hazy and the Matadors were awesome. And it is always amazing to see something the size of the chinook being thrown around like that too.

yep I ‘heard’ you too.. 😀 Aerostars were great, and the glider being towed whilst inverted looked interesting!!! 😮 I only photographed one ‘act’ – the Frenchman taking his ‘children’ for a ‘walk’… 😀 Neil.
