First sighting of a BBJ2

The one in question is A6-HEH,of Dubai Air Wing. They’re fairly regular visitiors to Dublin. This is the fisrt time of seen one,and managed to get some sort of shot. It’s right at the limit of my x10 zoom,so it didn’t get that close up.I took it from a spot at a crash barrier just up the road from the control tower.Has anyone else got shots of BBJ’s,they’ve seen.

It’s a version of the 737-800,with only one overwing exit common on a lot of them.

Nice shots there, am i right in saying that the BBJ2 is the business rendition of the 737-900?

Ahh lucky you, you got the new one! These live at Farnborough during the summer season and have just started to trickle back in, A6-HEH is a brand new one for the Air Wing for this season. They currently have 1 BBJ1, 3 BBJ2, and 1 319CJ operating across the governments. They also have even more very impressive 747s which usually live at Stansted and Heathrow, these should start making their regular appearances from about now too.

I think the current fleet number stands at 7 747s across the country.
