Flyglobespan’s new 767 has left Auckland bound for Sanford this morning, in FULL colours,re-reg’d G-CDPT, should be in Scotland late in the weekend. Also hear that Air Scotlands 757 will leave GLA on 25th april to join the Jet 2 fleet, Air Scotland will be operating 2 A320’s.

If the Air Scotland 757 is to be GLSAC, which confirms Jethro’s suggestion some time ago where is N254DG/(GLSAC) now?? Is it still at Southend?
Not quite correct. I said that there would be two additional B757’s joining the fleet. One from the states, and one from north of the border. I still expect GLSAC (Currently N245DG at Southend) to revert back to its UK marks, and then the Air Scotland machine to become GLSAD.
There is currently a thread running in the Spectators Balcony (Spotters Corner) forum in PPRuNe regarding the reg changes affecting GLSAC if anyone is interested.

An Air Scotland flight operated to Manchester today on the Barcelona route, whether their B757 operated it is beyond me.

Where can I find the configuration of the globespan fleet and stuff like that?
I looked up a few old threads and found out what products globespan will be offering aboard their new B767 long-haul routes but failed to find out what config they’d be operating in and the flyglobespan website is absolutely usful for doing anything other than booking so config of the B767 and less urgently their B737s would be greatly, overwhelmingly appreciated,

So I was right all those weeks back……………… 🙂 🙂 🙂 :). Although back then there was a possibility that the two Airbuses could in fact be two B737’s

Ahh cheers Gaz, knew it was doing flights, just guessed it would be any random flight, my bad.
Nae Boer 😉
I’d have thought the same as you, but apparently its just doing some BCN flights for crew training (of the scheduled flights that is). It will also fly to various airports in the UK for training.

No idea when the A320s are coming, i’d have thought they’d be about same time as the 757 goes?? AFAIK only 1 based at GLA

The Air Scotland B757 rarely flies, it’s always parked up! In the last few weeks, I think I have seen it fly once!
I saw it at 3 Airports in 24 hours last week: MAN, GLA & PIK !!! 😀

Tom, don’t know to both your questions lol…i nicked the info from another forum, but, i believe that is correct about G-LSAC, the 757 will be done in Lasham from 25/4
Damian expected to come over from Sanford on Sunday(though may be direct to PIK for crew training monday and tuesday!!)It will be doing some of GSM’s flights over the next few weeks (TFS,ALC etc…)so may even be seen in EDI too.
Scheduled for BCN only.

The FlyGlobespan 767 looks excellent now :).
Interesting about the Air Scotland 75′ going to Jet2, will this be to replace the a/c that should have become G-LSAC before? And where are the two A320’s going to come from?
