Loganair to leave BA franchise ?

According to reports in The Scotsman newspaper, Loganair CEO Scott Grier is a little unhappy with the current BA franchise in terms of it’s benefits for the airline.

He suggests they may go it alone or seek another deal with another organisation ? Personally I’d love to see Loganair in it’s own livery again.

Current franchise is currently valid into 2008. Wonder what Loganair would have to do to get out of it earlier.

History has shown that breaking away from a franchise arrangement rarely works out for the Franchisee, Duo, and Independence Air are the two examples that spring to mind.

Anyway, Loganair still have two more years to think things over!

How about flyGlobespan? Then they would truely be Scotland’s airline 😀 Although I highly doubt this would happen.

It’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.
