Hi everyone.
Spent an hour or so down at 26L this afternoon. Not much interesting as usual – was a 20 minute spell when nothing landed at all 🙁

a few more to follow…

Tom,
What time was it when nothing arrived for 20 minutes?
I know it was closed to inbound traffic for 20 minutes at about 1800 to allow a medical diversion in.
1L.
It was about 1450. About 10 departures went out and then the arrivals started again. I’ve never seen anything like that before. 🙂

Were these take at the far end of the airport near the Vallence collection? If so, you were lucky to get 20 minutes. I was there last week, and got moved on after only 2 minutes! by the police.
Not today, they were taken on the inner perimeter road by the terminal.
It’s strange they moved you on. Did you have a car with you? If so, then you will definately get moved on. By foot, i’ve never ever had a problem. There were about 10 or 15 of us today and all the security teams do is drive past 🙂
Thanks for comments everyone 😀

My first outing to an airport since August of last year, and thats how the day ended up – so i headed down to Shoreham for a little while. 🙁
