A Beech 200 business flight to Cambridge from Glasgow, carrying 3 people, lost control of most of it’s major systems and had to land under escort by RAF Tornado F3 at Leuchars in Fife yesterday. Sounds like a disaster averted as the Beech pilot hadn’t a clue how to get down through the clouds and land again without hitting something ?
