Going through some old photographs I came across this, so here’s a quick test for you. Name the airline and aircraft. Taken about 1991.

Is it possible to tell the difference between a 757 and a 737 from inside the cabin, given that they both have the same cross-section?
Can be difficult, but if you know the airline things like gallies, toilets, doors and overwing exits might give you clues.
For example in the Air Europe pic if you look very closely you can see the overwing exits and exit signs. Their 757’s didn’t have overwings, hence 737.

Between you I think you are just about there. The first one is a Dan Air 727-200, the second one is an Air Europe 737-300.

Could the 2nd one be an Orion 732 ? And why is the girl from ‘Restless Natives’ serving the drinks ?

The 2nd one is definitely a Boeing narrowbody, as is evident with overhead bins. I haven’t the slightest clue about the airline, however. The first one is most likely a boeing 727 or 737, but I’m not at all familiar with DanAir, nor do I know the types they flew. I doubt it would be a DC-9 as the seats are 6 abreast.

The 2nd one is an Air Europe 757 I believe.
The 1st one, I’d guess at a 727. We already know it’s Dan Air.

The aircraft in this one is dead easy, but what’s the airline?

This one is easier. Same airline but what’s the aircraft?

I though 1-11 Dan Air straight away – but who’ll believe me now…
I believe you. Honest!

With me only being born in 1991, take it as a complete and utter guesstimate lol 😀 …do you have any other photos we could take a guess at? or anybody else care to test us? 🙂
Cheers,
Sam
