Took a ride out to LHR this afternoon to see if the sun would make an appearance. It was a bit chilly tho!
Some of the aircraft arriving on 09L, sun on most – but not all!
(not shown the JAL 777-300ER which came out looking like a silhouette! :blush)
Looks like I was in the same place as BigJet.

I didn’t think those shots were possible when they’re using 9’s,all the photos on other web sites are really bad of aircraft using 9’s

Hi BigJet – No, I was by myself in the field/shivering in my car/walking up and down.
I saw two groups of two people and a chap leaping out of his car (much as I was) to capture interesting things.
