Lanzarote Information

I’m off to Lanzarote for my summer holiday this year, to do some spotting aswell. I’m aware the airport closes during night-time hours, does anyone have the times when the airport closes, and when it re-opens again?

Been there a few times “I wrote a trip report which should be on here somewhere” around and about the perimeter you can get some good shoots whilst also getting burnt, slap loads of sun screen on. Again it’s like most holiday island certain days are inundated by certain carries i.e. Thursdays tend to be popular with the British carriers and so on. The island is quite good loads to see and do but some resorts are a bit tacky we tend to stay in Playa Blanca but I am now past the big 30 so not the party animal I used to be.
I’m sure you will have a good time, sun and aircraft are a great combination enjoy.

The airport doesn’t close as far as I’m aware, although there are practically no movements overnight, as you’d expect in most airports. ]

Which resort are you staying in in Lanzarote? Might be able to give you some help about the airport, I’m hoping to return for my 9th time sometime this year!
