Centralwings at LBA

1. When do they start operating from LBA? The announcement was made a month or two ago, and just wondering if they have or haven’t started. Also, anyone know the flight times? Someone on here mentioned about two daily flights, early in the morning and near midnight.

2. I was going through the LBA timetable and it said the code for Centralwings was CO. However, Continental also have this code so what’s the catch? Are two airlines allowed to have the same code, even though they have completely different styles of routes?

Thanks.

Ye I like the scheme and I think that little bit of orange on the engine leaves you dying for little bt more of it.

I’m sure you’ll agree they are ideal for spotting and photography :D.

Most Central wings aircraft seem to be 50% Lot Polish colours.
However, I saw one aircraft this morning near the LOT hanger in Warsaw.
Not sure 300 or 400 but with new tail paint scheme.

They seem to be doing really well in DUB with 3 weekly flights to KTW and WRO with GDN and Lodz (I dont know the code) starting next month.

They use mainly 737-400s into DUB but when they give troulbe they use Slovak 737s which are nice to see.

tommyinyork: Is it a 737-400 ???

The aircraft type which will be operating the 3 times weekly WAW – LBA – WAW flights for Centralwings.com has not been comfirmed yet.

Centralwings do operate a fleet of 1 x Boeing 737-300 and 3 x Boeing 737-400’s. Only one aircraft is in the there own colours. The 3 others are still in basic LOT Polish airlines livery with Centralwings titles applied.

The 1st departure from LBA is on the 29th of March 2006, they have 3 flights a week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) arriving at Leeds 00:15, departing again at 01:45.

The code looks the same as Continental but isn’t, Continental is CO, Centralwings is C0. Continental uses the letter O, Centralwings uses the number 0.
