Req: British Airways a/c 'names'

Can anyone confirm that the names given to certaian a/c in the fleet (City of…..etc River……etc) are still applicable today? After receiving Union Flag’ livery, I was under the impression (Rightly or wrongly) that the names could be found on a plaque in the respective a/c cabin as opposed to the fuselage.

Correct CKing, although the plaques are still there with an explanation of the Chatham Dockyard and Union Flag history.

The name plaques were all removed and adorn various BA engineers tool boxes around the country!!!. They were replaced by a plastic plaque with details of the “Ethnic” designs on the tail. These now have all been removed as the aircraft have been repainted. Keep an eye out on Ebay!
