So the visit to Singapore, Sydney and Dubai were test flights then!!!!

No those were PR trips to assist sales, the A380 is a long way from doing “pleasure cruises”. 😉

The Heathrow trip is most probably part of a 2nd tier UK promotional exercise aimed at the operationally capable airports, the associated manufacturing companies and the UK public at large… 😀

Why has it taken so long to visit, was it that Heathrow wasn’t up to A380 standard until now?????

There are at the moment only 7 A380, of which at least one has yet to make its first flight. At the moment the main concern for the A380 is making test flights rather then making pleasure cruises.
