Interesting article here stating that Aer Arann are due to start three new flights from Leige, these being to Luton and Birmingham, and Lorient! Interesting that they drop the Cork flights and then maybe will start another.

Aer Arann will begin operating three new flights from Liege Airport, in Belgium, later this year.
The low-cost airline will fly from the city’s Bierset airport to Luton and Birmingham, and Lorient in western France.
The UK flights will operate twice daily from April with one flight daily to Lorient.
The Belgian newspaper L’Echo says that Aer Arann will base two aircraft at the airport and the move is being seen as another step in the rebuilding of Liege following the opening of new passenger facilities.
Liege is in the east of Belgium, close to the town of Maastricht and the German border, so it is hoped the airport and surrounding region will benefit from a rise in business passengers.
The flight to Lorient, in Brittany, could prove popular to people who have second homes in that corner of Fance.
Aer Arran currently only operates three continental routes – all in France – with its other 18 services operating between UK and Irish destinations.
It carried close to one million passengers in 2004, a 62 per cent growth on the previous year.
Flight details:
Liege to Luton: Departs 7.00am and 3.15pm
Luton to Liege: Departs 7.55am and 4.15pmLiege to Lorient: Departs 10.55am
Lorient to Liege: Departs 4.40pmLiege to Birmingham: Departs 7.00am and 7.10pm

Ye Aer Arann are setting up a base there and have recently ordered some more ATRs to support their growth.
With Aer Lingus juping onto the ORK-BHX route its no wonder RE opted out.
