They have to make it last 45 minutes somehow (minus adverts) 😀

Saw the one last night about the DHL Airbus which was hit by a SAM in Iraq. Apart from the actual footage from the Iraqi terrorists and the Apache helicopters the production was fairly low rank.
Programme mentioned it was the first time a plane had lost all three hydraulic systems apart from the JAL aircraft, then 10 minutes later mentioned Sioux City (which was also a loss of all three systems!), then changed the story to say it was the first time an aircraft had landed safely with no loss of life after losing all three systems.
And why do they insist on showing the resume of the programme (including the successful landing) twice in the first 5 minutes!

Just checked and that’s a double bill tonight, 1st one is about a russian pilot letting his 15yr old son at the controls, 2nd says it’s about a 747 out of control in Asia after a faulty repair, must be the JAL 747 with the botched repair by Boeing of the rear pressure baulkhead.
