Anyone experienced World Traveller Plus?

Guys,

Am expecting to be flying to Houston on Sunday and haven’t been able to get my usual KLM tickets (which is a shame as I was hoping to get a ride on the BBJ). Anyway, looks like I’ll be routing through Gatwick and am flying BA World Traveller Plus – BA Club World is way more expensive than KLM business fares, so my company never pays it.

As anyone ever used WTP (I haven’t)? What are the main differences from standard economy? Any thing I should really look out for?

In Houston now and can’t sleep…booo!

Anyway, WTP wasn’t bad at all. I couldn’t touch the seat in front of me; the recline on the seat was threefold (Back, lumber & leg) and the seats were wider too. Usual seat back TVs.

Flight was empty so managed to spread out a bit.

Enjoyed the experience but not sure if it was worth the extra money….

I’ve been on WTP from Singapore to London on the way back from Australia, I must say I found it excellent, 2 seats in the aisle instead of the 3 so extra width, whilst sat back in my seat if I outstretched my arms I could barely touch the seat in front so loads of room, also as you would expect the seat reclines alot further, yes you get better IFE, but I cannot recall a better menu unless that’s changed now, the only downside was I fell to sleep an hr after leaving Singapore which is something I have never been able to do on a long haul so I was overjoyed by this only to be woken up ½hr later by a baby screaming in business class, I recorded some footage on camera and when I played it back the baby was STILL screaming it’s head off when the moving map showed us overhead Germany before our descent, having payed an extra £1,000 for the upgrade to say I was none best pleased would be a massive understatement.

Haven’t had the chance to experience WTP yet, but am going to in August as I am going on a holiday of a lifetime…fly to Calgary with Air Canada, snowmobile over to Banff, Rocky Mountaineer train to Vancouver over 2 days, 7 day cruise to Alaska to do whale watching, and last two days in Seattle (in which a tour round the Boeing factory will be in order me thinks! :dev2: ) Am so looking forward to it…

😀 😮 😀

I am flying with BA in WTP on way home to LHR, so please let me know what the difference is, if their is a difference!

My dad has, he said that it was a wider range of food, slightly bigger TV’s and the main difference was legroom.

As far as I know there isn’t much more of a difference.
