What caused the 24 Hour + delay on Sunday for the BY flight inbound from Punta Cana?

That could be it. The flight leaves LBA early on a Tuesday but doesnt return until late evening doing a return trip from Alicante to the UK in between the Leeds turns. So this could have been the plane involved

The MME-ALC 757 was struck by lightning on departure and diverted to Luton at 5.30 ish.I think this is a LBA “W”

Wow never saw that, surely cant have been snow? An hour or two maybe but not 19! Really have no idea why there was such a big delay.
Notice this mornings Arrecife was on time, must have brought in another aircraft.
A few delays today:
BE643 EXETER 1525 LANDED 17:07
LS196 PRAGUE 1510 DELAYED 2000
T34714 ABERDEEN 1630 EXPECTED 18:20
BD614 BRUSSELS 1715 EXPECTED 19:00
Would expect most to be snow related, although the Prague only departed an hour late, must have developed a tech fault or something down in Prague, was probs the 757 :p
