It took us longer. Longer to wait for transport, Longer to get to London and then on to East Grimstead. Now we fly to Gatwick with Braatens/SAS. It still saves on time and hassle. Our destination from Gatwick takes 10 mins. But of course it might have helped if I mentioned this earlier and also got the county right  Sorry folks 😀

However Luton is ranked by BBC London as the most expensive and difficult airport to get to, It would cost a Londoner £13.50 using Public Transport to get there, and if you went by car the parking + £8 or £16 for your congestion charge is out of the question

Ye Ive used the Stansted express into Central London and its great perhaps slightly overpiced but a great service and STN beats LHR hands down anyday. The only reason Id fly into LHR is if I was spotting there but for shopping, sightseeing in London STN is a much better choice.
I totally agree. STN is great LHR just a nightmare. .
AS for the STN express , overpriced it is indeed 🙂

I want to go from stansted soon, but my parents don’t want to drive that far – M25 etc…
Great news for Dublin though – a huge expansion that it probably needs. Good to see an ‘Irish Airline’ (ryanair) finally expand at an Irish airport.

Then Rynair arives at Stansted which is a two hour journey by public transport to London as it is stuck in the middle of the countryside way up in north sussex. There is more travel expences there and back.
The last time I travelled into London from STN it took all of 45mins on the STN express…

Someone’s Geography is excellent.
North Sussex? Try Essex.
Middle of the countryside? Try 30 miles from central London.

You know that maybe you lot should look into these routes a little closer. I know some of you have good deals,But other routes are just plain silly.
An example: Norway to England. Well haugesund-Stanstead
Getting to Haugesund from Stavanger where all the people are at is two tunnels covering 11 kilometres under the sea,One ferry boat and a drive just to get to the airport. So even with dirt cheap flights, You still have to add on your journeys to the airport and back and then all your extra waiting time.

We calculated that it would work out krona 400 I think thats about $25 less expensive for us if we took Ryan air. But the round trip would take 8 hrs longer. So if you just have to be one of the few inhabitants of Haugesund or Stansted, Then its a good deal. Otherwize its a joke
Hey, If anyone wants a good look at these airports, Check out Google earth.com

Good news for my home town Biarritz (BIQ) 🙂

Whatever anyone says about them, Ryanair and certainly MOL have their heads screwed on the right way.
Yesterday: Newspapers reports state that there will be 3 months of a shortage of planes and frequencies cut back, largely from DUB.
Today: Ryanair announce 15 new routes from DUB.
Not a coincidence.

WOW thats a lot considering todays paper only said 10 new routes.Maybe a bit of a sweetner for us Irish seen they say they will change to an eastern european flag and no longer will be an Irish airline. But i dont care its more routes more low fares :diablo: 😎 🙂 😉
