Thomsonfly 737-300

Does anyone know what type of operations these do. I was under the impression that they did exclusively the Low Cost stuff, but have seen today that G-THOI operated 2 charter flights at Gatwick over the weekend:

BY474B 00:15 GTHOI 733 TFS 00:15 03M
BY870B 22:15 GTHOI 733 KTT 22:48 43E

Anyone know why this and will it continue? It’s just a bit strange considering they’ve come from Tenerife & Kittila which are both fairly long flight times

TOM’s 733’s are quite descent enough inside. The majority of them have leather seats and are generally quite comfortable especially for most of the short flights they are used on.

aaargh- why do people insist on putting a P in Thomson.

It was a spelling mistake so chill out, try using a capital letter at the start of a sentence .

same as anyother 737-300… the one i went on a year or 2 ago had, had a little refurb with new seats etc…. however one thing which will do your head in is the Thomson tune when loading and taxi’ing… also… as we was delayed and stayed on the plane for an hour or 2 listening to that repeated it winds you up!!!!

When we went with Thomson it had a britannia crew etc

Thanks. Just thought it was strange considering the Tenerife was meant to be a 767-300.

Thanks v much

Thomsonfly’s Boeing 767’s have been leased for Haj and are operating Boeing 737-300/500 and Airbus A310’s in airports where the 767’s would be.
Thomsonfly Boeing 737 G-THOF was at Manchester over the weekend as was Britannia Boeing 737-800 SE-DZV

Hope it helped!
