Just read that Helios have now stripped the markings off one of their 738’s (5B-DBI) and is flying all white with new flyhelios.com titles. Can’t blame Helios for wanting to change their scheme (especially tail) after what happened! It’s sad to loose such a lovely scheme.
Atleast Helios are still flying 🙂

That is such a shame – look at the livery of the aircraft on their website! but as Mark said it was the tail that was assicoaited with the crash. Ahhhh well I hope the white livery with website titles isn’t permanent.
Wonder what they have planned…….?

They removed the “Sun” logo off the designs on their website a few days ago. I think it was that logo that was most associated with the crash as the tail carrying the logo was shown sitting in a field in most of the press reports surrounding the crash.

I do think a new design would help them. As their crashed aircraft was displayed all over the news for days, and when passengers saw that same design at their gate, they freaked out.
