I did manage to take some photographs in between downpours, though:
B747 9V-SPF of Singapore Airlines on it’s way to somewhere warmer.
Another B747, G-VAST of Virgin Atlantic, doing likewise.
McDonnell MD-90s aren’t plentiful in Europe. Here’s OY-KIM of SAS. Note that it had started raining again…
Oh yes, it really had started raining again! A319 9H-AEL of Air Malta with additional titles on the fuselage.
So, it was off to the semi-legendary Airport Hotel…. where even though the weather had brightened considerably, the beer garden still looked like this:
