Edinburgh Warning

Some time ago I remember someone was threatened with a hammer and had his gear stolen at Edinburgh. I was up in Edi last week doing some research and my Brother in law and I went out to the airport as he wanted to take some photos. He has a lot of expensive tech gear (not just cameras) and we were joined by a bloke in his early forties who made a show of watching the planes but we both reckoned was sizing the situation up as he could hardly keep his eyes off my brother in laws gear. We were so p***** off at this blokes behaviour we decided to confront him and I went behind him but he legged it. What surprised both of us was that he was prepared to take on two blokes larger than himself – my brother in law is well over 6 foot and weighs nineteen stones but he kept his right hand in his jacket pocket so he may have had a knife. I have informed the police but I would suggest to anybody going out there to be on your guard.
